Like all coaches and consultants, we are committed to thoroughly demonstrating to our prospective clients the value of our coaching and consulting solutions. But as Black coaches and consultants, we face additional obstacles. We not only have to demonstrate our ability to deliver on solutions and proposed outcomes, we often have the additional challenge of overcoming the perception that we don’t understand the corporate environment, or the perception that we don’t have the skills, experience, training and polish of our competition.
The Association of Black Business Coaches & Consultants was founded to help close the gap. Not a skills or professionalism gap, but a perceptions gap that slows, or even prevents, the professional growth of Black coaches and consultants. We are here to level the playing field and to help our members achieve greater success.
